Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE hitch bike rack, how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. This is gonna be an affordable option that's gonna be able to get up to 80 pounds per bike where you need it to go. It's a platform style rack, that means it holds the bike up primarily with these trays and cradles down here at the bottom. We have our frame hooks here on the middle and we have one strap on either tire one in the front, one in the back so it holds our bike very securely but it does make frame contact. So we wouldn't recommend using this with a carbon frame bike just 'cause it could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. more

The NV 2.0 is gonna be a premium rack with a bunch of premium features. First and foremost being the weight capacity, does support two bikes up to 60 pounds a piece. It's a platform-style bike rack, so it holds the bike up with these trays and cradles, and primarily by this front wheel hook here and one additional strap down at the bottom. Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 hitch bike rack and how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. The Sherpa is going to be a premium option for you to get two bikes up to 40 pounds where you need 'em to go. It is a platform style rack, which means it holds a bike up by the trays, and the cradles down here at the bottom keeps them in place with this front wheel hook, and one strap down here at the back. So if you wanna mix and match this with your carbon frame or alternative frame bikes it'll work 'cause we don't make any frame contact. So we can accommodate those shapes and we're not gonna damage the frame while we're moving, but it doesn't have enough weight capacity for your e-bikes. more

Hi, everyone. Aidan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT Premium four-bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. This is going to be a hanging style bike rack, holding the bike by the frame and letting the rest of the rack, or the bike hang down below the rack. There's two main points of contact holding it in place, these two straps on the top holding it down into the cradles, and the third one on the side here as an anti-sway cradle just to help limit the side to side movement and bike to bike contact. They do make a five-bike version of this that has a slightly boosted weight capacity. more

It's going to be designed specifically for your e-bike usages so it's gonna be a platform rack capable of supporting two bikes up to 60 pounds a piece. It's going to hold onto our bike primarily with these frame hooks here in the middle as well as one strap on either tire, front and back. So if you do wanna mix and match and use this with your carbon frame bikes we'd recommend against it because it is putting that down force on your frame, could potentially damage it while you're driving. But if you have an alternative frame style they do go all the way up and down the center mass so they should be able to accommodate that pretty well. more

So we do make frame contact although it's not pushing directly down. Still wouldn't recommend using carbon frame bikes just 'cause it does still have that potential to damage frame while you're driving. more

Hey, it Ethan in here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Premium hitch bike rack, how it fits on our 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. It's going to be a four-bike hanging-style bike rack which means it's gonna hold the bike primarily from the top tube here and let the rest of the bike hang down. It's gonna be able to support 180 pounds total, four bikes, it's got this taper at the end which should help you accommodate some kids' bikes, but if you do have a carbon frame bike we wouldn't recommend using something like this just cuz it is primarily held by the frame, could potentially take damage while you're driving. Alternative frame bikes you might have to pick up a bike adapter bar. The taper at the end should help you not need that for kids bikes as much, but still a chance you might have to pick one up kind of how hanging-style racks are. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E hitch bike rack and how it fits on a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. This is a two bike platform style bike rack, capable of supporting two bikes up to 70 pounds and it's gonna hold onto our bikes primarily with these clamps, frame, as well as three additional straps down at the bottom. Because this rack does have that 70 pound weight capacity, typically you're gonna use this for heavier bikes and most often e-bikes, but if you do want to maybe get one of your carbon frame bikes on here as well, we wouldn't recommend it just because it does make that frame contact with this clamp, it could potentially damage your frame while you're driving. But one of the nicer features at this rack offers is the fact that it tilts and it tilts really aggressively, almost 90 degrees. So to tilt it away, we'll start by loosening up this gray hand knob down here until it gets to the point where you can push it down just like that. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack, here on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. So the Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack, is a really great cost effective bike rack option for you and the family because it allow you to carry up to four bikes. Now, something that this bike rack does really well in comparison to some of the other hanging style racks, is that the arms here at the end taper in you can see the arms have a much smaller distance between them here, than back here. Now, the reason for this is these two bikes here are usually gonna be used for your kids' bikes, that obviously aren't very big. So sometimes they might not work with all the arms spaced out here. So you'd put your two adult bikes back here the misses and the mister and then you'd have your two kids bikes here. more

Now this is a premium-featured bike rack and it will allow you bikes up to 40 pounds, so most of your decent size bikes. It is wheel mounted so you can get your carbon-frame bikes to the trail. A nice feature of this bike rack is it does have a decent tilt-away feature. So if you hold on to the frame, pull this lever back, and now I push it down, get that out of the way. more

Now platform style bike rack is usually recommended because it holds the bikes by the tires and it makes no frame contact. So today, we have an aluminum one here and that one would be fine if you did have frame contact, but let's say you have maybe more expensive carbon fiber bike. And that's going to be a platform style bike rack but it's a little bit different than your standard platforms. Usually there'll be a hook or some kind of attachment on the wheel and no frame contact. Now this one does have the straps at the bottom holding it on there but it also has the center mass that does connect to the low bar on your bike. more

Today on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Premium Hitch-Mounted Bike Rack.The rack that we have here today can hold up to a total of four bikes. But if you need to carry an extra one, there's a five bike version available as well. So right away, probably the best thing about this rack, at least that I think is, it's a great compact way to carry around a lot of bikes. With these Pacificas being very family-oriented vehicles, usually there's not a ton of extra space on the inside, especially to carry around large items like bikes. So, by having a rack like this, you're going to be able to carry around all your bikes and take all your family and friends in one vehicle. more

This is a great bike rack, especially if you have to install and uninstall a bike rack by yourself regularly, because it's really light and it has an easy, breezy, almost effortless way of mounting and dismounting the bike. Now, if you want to access your hatch on your Pacifica, this bike rack does tilt away. And to do so, you need to pull the lever and it just goes down by itself and stops. If you want to bring a bunch of bikes out on your adventure, you can bring one, two, three, and four bikes on this rack. It is designed in a unique way. If you can see here, it tapers smaller towards the end and that's designed so that it can fit children's bikes a lot better since their frames are shorter. So because of that, as well as it's cradles, that can rotate. more

Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks, TRS SE 2 platform style bike rack on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. So this is going to be a great bike rack if you need to get two bikes to and from a destination and especially if those two bikes are carbon fiber bikes. It's going to be a no frame contact bike rack, which is definitely a plus for some of those more sensitive frames that you may have.We are going to have two tie-down points per bike. We're going to have obviously our wheel hook upfront, and then we're going to have our little strap around back. The nice thing about the strap in the back is just the fact that we are going to be able to move this throughout the portion here of the bike rack. more
